The Steering Gear Motor Safeties in Ship which are necessary for proper functioning of Motor are following :-
1.Overload Alarm
2.200 % Insulation in Motor
3.High Temperature Alarm
4.Self- Starting after power failure
5.Short Circuit Trip
6.Phase failure alarm
7.Ine of the steering motor is fed from the emergency bus bar
On hydraulic side,there is two trip :-
1.Low Level cut out
2.High lube oil temperature cut out.
