Advantage:-
Can extingiush live equiment quickly and effectively
No collateral damage
Frost-resistant
Disadvantage:-
Unsuitable for homes (training before use is recommended)
Almost twice as heavy as the other extinguishers
Suffocating for humans and animals
May cause burn wounds (frost bite)
Flies away quickly
Relatively expensive
3.Dry Powder
Advantage:-
Good extinguishing effect
Can extinguish live equipment
Frost-resistant
Disadvantage:-
A lot of collateral damage
No/barely no cooling effect
Damages electrical devices
Increased risk of re-ignition
Shorter extinguishing time
4.Foam Extinguisher
Advantage:-
- Simple to use
Limited collateral damage
Long spraying time
Can extinguish live equipment (up to 1000V)
Cooling effect reduces the risk of re-ignition
Disadvantage:-
- More expensive than a powder fire extinguisher
Usually not frost-resistant (although special frost-resistant foam-fat extinguishers do exist
